I plan to use this as a carry-on bag. I've found that "soft" bags are easier to wedge into overhead bins or under the seat and still provide a little leg room. They also "change size" depending on how much you put in them. This is the perfect size. It's functional, appears to be durable (haven't used it yet) and you can fold it to pack in a suitcase to use on your return trip for items acquired while traveling. Only downside - available in just one color. But that's not a big deal to me.
