Comments about Piel Piel Leather Wheeled Computer Case:
The combination of my 15" MacBook Pro in its snug-fitting InCase carrier is 15" x 11" x 2", or about 1.5" too long to fit in the 13.5"-deep U-zip front compartment of the "improved" Piel 2101 from Irv's Luggage.
(Most Internet images of this bag accurately show the zipper crossing the bag about 2" down from the top edge, but a few, like the one here at time of posting, show another version where the zipper runs right along the top edge. Was that the original? That one might have fit my laptop, in its carrier. Some improvement! For me, a fatal flaw.)
The bag itself measured 18" x 13" x 9" (8" compressed); I was looking for one 18" x 12" x 6.5", to fit all the restrictions I've encountered over the past several years. I'm still looking.
In its favor, this bag is lighter than the slightly smaller 2876, which has a lot of internal organization, and this one has a side handle, too. If I carry it on stairs using the side handle, it doesn't bump the steps, but the 2876, which only has a top handle, does; the 2101 will treat your laptop better - if yours fits it in the first place. (I'm not short, about 5' 10" with limbs in average proportion.)

I travel extensively and have used Piel for years. The bags are beautiful and wear well. Unfortunately the wheeled computer case does not live up to Piel's reputation.
