Comments about Seward Luggage Seward Garrison Oversized Trunk 31 X 16.5 X 15.5:
When living abroad, each year would return w/ one filled with American necessities - clothes, food, books, toiletries, so forth...at destination, they would then be used for storage.
Back in America, I STILL am using these for storage and will for many years to come. The uniformity in size is a dream for concise storage in a garage, storage locker or bedroom closet.
Further, the footlockers protected my woolens from nasty vermin and bugs.
As well, they were easily identifiable on luggage carousel. 5 of 7 lockers have made 2 or 3 round trips to Europe and are still being used.
Like suitcases of their size and weight, I was always happy to find an airport porter available. The household movers like them too. Fortunately, here was never need for a damaged suitcase claim to fill.
The version w/ wheels it too small for practicality - and was not best for me.
Sure, they are not the finest construction or particularly pretty but worked and held up exremely well.
Once, an outer holding strip came loose but the trunk held together - no big deal.
Some of mine (5) must be at least 25 years old - and still working!
I highly recommend these - are highly practicle and infinately useful and versitile.

The [$]Target product was made with the very same materials and construction, so I have no idea why this Garrison trunk cost 3 times as much. [...] Definitely not worth the extra money, especially since there was another [$[...]
