This bag was recommended to me as the perfect "carry on" for the business traveler. It easily carries one suit as well as all the items needed for a 3-4 day trip. Regrettably, on the very first trip the bag's fabric ripped. When I sent it back for repair / service, Irv's immediately offered to replace the bag versus try and repair it. The Service Manager even called me personally to tell me what he was doing to remedy the situation. I was very impressed with their customer focus. I will definitely be a return customer.

Traveling has changed over recent years, banishing my larger 24" and 26" pieces to storage. I don't want the excess weight charge. On the other hand, my IPod Touch means I no longer travel with a laptop. So I no longer really need a rolling tote to carry a heavy 'puter and batteries aboard. Now I use this particular piece more than any other, due to weight and size limitations aboard most carriers. It's easy for me to manage solo. I can check or carry on. I can add a piece to the handle (which I'll either check or carry on) and carry a tote (as my "handbag"), giving me 3 bags with plenty of packing space all told. This bag holds a great deal and is large enough for most trips, especially if you supplement it with a carry-on with any capacity. I have a Victorinox Euro-tote from several years back which I love, and another larger tote they used to offer which I can check or carry depending upon the trip. I highly recommend Victorinox; with all my various pieces I've never had a single problem. You can pay more but you won't beat the quality. I've had the red since first introduced and, besides being easier to spot, it has cleaned up and maintained its good looks exceptionally well over the years.

After looking at several different brands of luggage we chose the Victorinox because of the warranty and it's weight. One of the lightest available!
