Comments about Samsonite Corp. Samsonite Solana Upright 22":

I spent a month reviewing 22" luggage. I thought about buying Travel Pro, but the reviews kept saying they tip over. I opted for the Solana 22". Most of my travel is for 3 days or so and generally for business. Although I haven't travelled with it yet, I did pack it as if I was going on a trip. A suit fit very nicely in the separate compartment, although the garment bag that came with it was too small (narrow at the shoulders) to accommodate a suit. I merely folded it neatly and put it into that compartment. I also laid my ties on top of the suit and zipped it up. Nice organized fit! I folded 4 dress shirts on top of each other in the main compartment, a pair of shoes (I put them between the railings of the handles to give some room - one on either side of the case) and then rolled up my underware, socks, bathing suit, etc and ran them down the middle between the shoes. I had room for my toilet kit on top of that and still had room to spare. I also bought the rolling tote to serve both as a briefcase for my work materials and an overflow bag for the items that I thought wouldn't fit into my 22 incher. I loaded that one with my work material and had lots of room left for things like a book for the plane, a sweater or light jacket and still some extra room. It balanced on top of my 22-incher without tipping! The only suggestion I'd make concerns the tote, which doesn't have an outside strap so that it can be dropped over the handle of the 22-incher. I'll know more after I actually use it, but I found it very spacious and well laid out. I'd recommend it at this point.
