I really like the idea of being able to separate the upper case from the lower. Easier to deal with as a carry on, also like all the pockets to stash little things in.

I LOVE this product. It comes with a 5 year warranty. I bought it for my partner's birthday. She loved it! It was a great piece to have for maximizing a carry-on. We were able to separate it and place both parts into the overhead compartment. These bags are well made and fashionable. We ordered all the pieces in the set and will be ordering the laptop bag as well.
