I mainly use the bag in my daily commutes to work and semi-frequent travel. Also, I wanted something that gave adequate protection for my laptop, was large enough to comfortably fit extra books and papers, yet small enough to easily take on a plane. The bag satisfies in all the above. My only "complaints" would be the shoulder strap, which is not very comfortable at all, nor is it well padded. Also, the leather does have a couple of nicks (i.e. the top layer flaked off) after a few weeks, so only time will tell how well the leather holds up. I have already traveled, however, and it fit nicely below the seat in front of me!
