There are knock-offs of the Zuca bag that are intended for scrapbooking, and while their retail price is almost that of a Zuca, they can be bought at a great discount if you shop around. However, they cannot actually be safely used for adult seating. The Zuca claims a 300-pound capacity, and can certainly support my husband's weight (about 220 pounds); the knock-offs have reportedly failed for people who weigh 120 pounds. Sometimes it's better to bite the bullet and buy the real thing. I'll be using this bag to transport a circular sock machine, for shopping at sheep-and-wool festivals, and as an overnight+laptop bag.
