Having started a new job with frequent travel involved, I looked for carry-on that could carry everything I needed (a day's clothes, toiletries, a book or two, and my laptop). This became suprisingly difficult as my laptop is larger (17") and the few carry-ons I found that were designed to hold a laptop either didn't have a large enough compartment or the padding for the laptop looked inadequate to properly protect it. This carry-on is fantastic! My laptop is very well protected and there's more than enough room and would probably hold an even larger laptop. Along with that, it's very rugged and well put together.
