Briggs & Riley has a better expansion feature so luggage doesn't tip over when expanded. However it costs 3 times as much. This is great for the money.

I could not find this bag for under $99.99 anywhere until I stumbled on to Irv's on line. We bought twn [...] Just in the price of the bags alone we saved over $80.00We will be taking these bags for a two week trip to Belize and have no doubt that they will be perfect.

Got this product mostly to circumvent annoying luggage charges on the airlines. I was doubtful I could really live out of it, but used it for a 5 day trip and found it worked surprisingly well. I used the 'packing cubes' recommended on the travel DVD that came with the piece, and really liked them. It kept the interior contents from spilling out whenever I opened the luggage, and between that and the pockets, it was really easy to keep everything organized. Despite being packed really full, it fit easily into the overhead compartment on the plane. The only drawback might be that it holds so much, that it easily can get heavy to carry by hand, so that is when I used the padded shoulder straps and backpacked it. I am very happy with the piece and would gladly recommend it.
